We are looking for an internationally renowned researcher with an excellent record of accomplishment in the field of modern solid state physics. The research must be integrated into the research networks of the department, complementing and strengthening them. The Center for Integrated Quantum Science and Technologies IQST (Ulm/Stuttgart), the DLR Institute "Quantum Technologies", which is currently being established, and the Cluster of Excellence POLiS (Post Lithium Storage) are worthy of special mention.

Teaching responsibilities cover the full spectrum of experimental physics.

Employment requirements are completed university studies as well as teaching aptitude, a doctoral degree and further pertinent scientific achievements (§ 47 LHG).
