Your profile:

  • Completed studies in physics, engineering or a comparable field of study, PhD if applicable
  • In-depth experience and knowledge in the practice and theory of quantum physics/technologies
  • Fluent in English
  • Knowledge of the necessary administrative processes within the university is desirable.

Your responsibilities:

  • Development and application of selected methods in the field of quantum technologies in order to enhance teaching and knowledge transfer on this topic, e.g. by new teaching experiments, also in the research network QP-tech.edu
  • Establishment and maintenance of industrial cooperation regarding research content, university education and teaching in the field of quantum technologies
  • upport in the establishment and operation of the interdisciplinary master's program Quantum Engineering (physics and engineering)
  • Management of the project of the University of Ulm within the network
  • Advising researchers from all institutes of quantum physics and quantum technologies across engineering and physics regarding collaborations with and training of candidates with/in the relevant industries so that they can, under expert supervision, use the methods of quantum technologies to expand their knowledge
  • Develop and provide repositories regarding the relevant topic of quantum physics/technologies from the individual institutions of the University of Ulm - and also across the network - for the in-service training of candidates from industry, in industry and at the university
