For the Institute of Surface Chemistry and Catalysis we are looking for a/an

Academic employee (m/f/d)
(PhD candidate)

The project “Old materials with new functionality – Interstellar MgSiO clusters as novel and cheap catalysts“ addresses the astrochemically highly relevant growth process of interstellar magnesium silicates as well as their potential as novel catalysts for sustainable hydrogen production. For this purpose we will investigate small mass-selected clusters by employing a unique combination of ion trap reaction and infrared spectroscopic experiments in the gas phase.
